Support
Daily Outbreak is a calm strategy puzzle: an outbreak is spreading between islands, and you have eight rounds to bring every island back to clear. Every day there's a new Daily, the same case for everyone.
Email support@dailyoutbreak.com with your device model and what happened. We read every message. In the game, Settings › Send feedback writes that email for you, and Settings › Support opens this page.
When does the new Daily arrive?
At midnight, your time, every day. Everyone gets the same puzzle on the same date. The home screen counts down to the next one.
Where is my progress saved?
On your device only. There's no account, so deleting the app also deletes your progress from your device. A backup of your phone (iCloud on iPhone, Google on Android) can still hold it: restoring that backup brings it back, as reinstalling the game does on Android.
How do I learn to play?
Dr. Teo teaches the game in three short lessons, one idea at a time, and five easy levels are there for practice. You don't have to finish them first: today's Daily is always one tap away on the home screen. How to play is on the home screen at any time, and Map key, in the pause menu on any board, explains every mark on the map.
How do I turn the daily reminder on or off?
Tap the gear on the home screen: the Reminders section has the switch and the time (8 AM, 12 PM or 6 PM). There's no reminder on days you've already played the Daily. Your phone (iPhone or Android) schedules it.
Someone sent me an offensive name, or keeps bothering me
A link from a friend can carry the first name they typed: a challenge, an outbreak, a team or a duel, a Lantern Parade, Safe Harbour, Harvest Fields or Regatta Sails time, and a Find Patient Zero result. Names are filtered in English, Spanish, Portuguese and Russian, but if one gets through: on the screen the link opens, tap Report or block.
- Block stops links with that name from opening in your game and hides their matches and duels from your home screen. You can undo it under Settings, Blocked players.
- Report writes an email to support@dailyoutbreak.com with the name and the link. We read every report, usually within a day, and add names that slip through to the game's filter.
You can also email us directly at any time.
Does the game collect my data?
Nothing that identifies you. There's no account, no ads and no tracking. The game sends us anonymous daily totals, such as how the day's first tries ended, which can't be linked to you, and it downloads the island videos from this site. The privacy policy says exactly what is sent; Settings › Privacy policy opens it from the game.
